SBI PO Recruitment: Exam Details
SBI PO recruitment requires several steps to follow. The job is attractive but the path is definitely not so easy to take here. Eligible candidates need to appear for the online preliminary examination and then main paper (online) on the selected date at the selected venue prompted by the SBI authority. The dates and the venue will be written on the Admit Card of the candidate. This is the first step of the recruitment.

If the candidate clears the 1st sets of examination consisting of several multiple choice questions and manages to get the cut-off marks then the candidate will be selected to appear for the GD or Group Discussion.

These two phases of examination will take place in two languages English and Hindi. No other regional language is available. There is negative marking in the online tests as well. So students must be careful before clicking on any answer. Attempt all the question when you are confident about the answer as negative marking can low down your total marks

After clearing the GD round, the selected candidates are required to appear for the Personal Interview which will be the last step before formal recruitment. The candidates, along with clearing these steps need to submit their previous college and school marks sheets as well.

Eligibility is very important in SBI PO or any other SBI examination. Violating eligibility criteria can lead to cancellation of recruitment process of that particular candidate at any time.

Age:

Age of the applicant must not be more than 30 years as of 1st April 2018 and not less than 21 years as of April 2018. That is the candidate must not be born before 02.04.1987 and after 02.04.1996.

Age Relaxation:

Schedule Cast/Scheduled Tribe Category: 5 years
Other Backward Class: 3 Years
Person With Disability: 10 to 15 years.
Ordinarily Domicile in State of J&K: 5 Years
Ex Servicemen/SSSO/ECO: 5 years.
Education:

Students who have completed 3 or 4 years graduation or equivalent from any recognized university or institution in any subject or discipline are eligible for the examination.

There is no such marks criterion; however candidates must have passed the previous examination. Students who have appeared for the final year examination and waiting for their results can also apply for SBI PO examination.

SBI PO 2018 Apply Online registration application form would be released for the candidates by the state bank of India along with notification. Below are the steps to follow to apply online for SBI PO exam.

Application form will be available on SBI’s official website https://www.sbi.co.in/ from the mentioned date on the notice.
After visiting the website check the ‘announcement’ segment for the recruitment news.
Click on the ‘apply now’ button on the SBI PO Recruitment news.
You will get the application form that will ask you to enter basic details like Name, gender, age, qualification, marks obtain, category and contact details along with some other basic information.
Once you are done with filling up the form, click on the ‘save and next’ button and continue with the next page.
Upload your scanned copy of photograph and signature (photo size not more than 50kb and signature not more than 20kb) and click on the ‘upload’ and then ‘next’ button.
In the next page you need to make the payment online that is registration fee. For the general category the fee is Rs. 600/- and for the SC/ST/OBC/PWD fee is Rs. 100/-.
The application form and money receipt copy will be generated that must be printed for future reference.
