State banks of India (SBI) will be conducting SBI Clerk Recruitment 2019 for recruiting candidates interested for Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) and Junior Agricultural Associates posts available in various branches of SBI. The official notification for the recruitment of SBI Clerk 2019 is released on January 19, 2019 tentatively. There will be a prelim and a main examination. Both the examinations are conducted via online mode. Candidates have to pass in both the examinations with desired Marks to go to the next round.

The exam will be held in two stages- Preliminary and Main Examination.

The pattern of Preliminary Exams is as follows:

The duration of the test will be 1 hour (Composite).

The most important thing to note is that the pattern of the Main Exam has changed- There will be sectional timing for each section in the exam, which means you have to finish that particular section within the mentioned time frame only. You cannot go back to that section once you have crossed the specified time limit. This might be a boon for those whose time management strategy was off but it also hampers those who are particularly fast in a particular section as any time saved in one’s strong areas cannot be utilized in another section where the same candidate is slow or weak at.

The sectional time allotted to each section of the exam means that you will be having exactly 35 minutes for the General/Finance Awareness, 35 minutes for General English and so on.

Aspirants are advised to take care of this change in pattern while preparing.
