Canara Bank PO exam – 2019 is a multiple-stage exam conducted by Canara Bank to recruit Probationary Officers. This is a common exam to recruit Probationary Officers in various branches of Canara Bank across the nation. As part of the recruitment process, Canara Bank has invited individuals for admissions to the specially designed one-year training course leading to Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF). Once you successfully complete the course, you become a Canara Bank Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade Scale-I.

Age Limit : (As on 1st October 2018)

Candidates Should have the age limit between 20-30 years (As on 01/10/2018). Minimum age should be 20 years and Maximum age up to 30 years is applicable. The Age relaxation is only for the students belongs to OBC (+3 Years) and SC/ST category (+5 Years)

Education Qualification : (As on 01/10/2018) 

Candidates must possess the Graduation degree in any discipline with minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PWD)completed from government recognized university/college/ Institution.

Computer Literacy:

Operating & working knowledge in computer systems shall be an essential qualification, which a candidate must either possess or acquire within 6 months from the date of joining the Bank.

Selection Procedure and Exam pattern of Canara Bank PO :

The selection procedure of Canara Bank PO recruitment consists of 3 Stages. Online written examination , Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Those who qualify the written examination will be called for Group discussion and Interview round. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in Objective Test.

Note : Depending on the number of vacancies, such of those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit in the online test as per the cut-off marks decided by the Bank will only be called in 1:3 ratio (for each post 3 candidates) for Group Discussion and Interview.

Minimum qualifying marks in group discussion and interview is 40 % (35% in case of SC/ST/OBC and Physically Handicapped candidates.
