Figure Matrix

FIGURE MATRIX:

Basically reasoning is divided into many sections according to logic and type, Figure Matrix is one of them. Few reasoning questions in your exam will surely come from this section.

“What is Figure Matrix”

In Figure Matrix,  by group of figures either (3×3) or (2×2) a network is framed. These figure structure sets either row wise or column wise and each of these sets takes after the same principle. Analyse each of these sets to find out the regular rule and after that on its basis, the missing figure is to be recognized from an arrangement of choices, in order to finish the network of Figure Matrix.

Now we will show you the process of solving the Figure Matrix questions in a very easy and quick manner. Let’s start the detail discussion of Figure Matrix questions. This lesson will help you in examination to solve Figure Matrix reasoning questions.

1) Choose the alternative which is closely resembles the Figure Matrix of the given figure.

Ans.  The actual missing image is D.

Explanation: In the first and second row, the second figure is the inner part of the first figure and similarly the third figure is the inner part of the second image.

2) Choose the alternative which is closely resembles the Figure Matrix of the given figure.

Ans. The actual missing image is B.

Explanation: As we move from first figure to second figure, the two perpendicular intersecting lines are getting omitted and four small circles are placed at the four corner of each row of third figure.

3)Select a suitable figure from the four alternatives that would complete the figure matrix

Explanation:   In each row, the third figure comprises of a black circle and only those line segments which are not common to the first and the second figures.

4)Select a suitable figure from the four alternatives that would complete the figure matrix

Explanation:

In each row, the second figure is obtained from the first figure by adding two mutually perpendicular line segments at the centre and the third figure is obtained from the first figure by adding four circles outside the main figure.

5)Select a suitable figure from the four alternatives that would complete the figure matrix

Explanation: In 1st row – One straight line and a circle is added in first figure to create second figure, then omit the first figure from second figure to create the third figure. similarly in  second row and third row.

6) Choose the alternative which is closely resembles the Figure Matrix of the given figure.

Ans. The actual missing image is C.

Explanation: Here are three types of arrow single, double and triple arrow. Positions of arrows are different upwards, downwards and towards right. These arrows has three type of base circle, plane and rectangle. So missing arrow is option C.

7) Choose the alternative which is closely resembles the Figure Matrix of the given figure.

Ans: The actual missing image is B.

Explanation: The second figure is obtained by completing the figure of first one.

8) Choose the alternative which is closely resembles the Figure Matrix of the given figure.

Ans. The missing image is B.

Explanation: In the first figure of second arrow is only inverted and placed in the second figure, third figure of both arrows are inverted.

9) Choose the alternative which is closely resembles the Figure Matrix of the given figure.

Ans. The missing image is C.

Explanation: In each figure, the circle are side of longer line. The number of circle are increased in each step from left to right in each row. the position of first and third figure are same.

10) Choose the alternative which is closely resembles the Figure Matrix of the given figure.

Ans. The missing image is B.

Explanation: In all rows, the inner circle moves with the bar 90 degree clockwise at each step, has three shapes like triangle, rectangle, circle. So in third row triangle is missing so the option would be B.
