A Code is a system of words, letters, figures,or symbols used to represent others, especially for the purposes of secrecy. Therefore,Coding is a method of transmitting a message between the sender and the receiver without a third person knowing it. The Coding and Decoding Test is set up to judge the candidate's ability to decipher the rule that codes a particular word/message and break the code to decipher the message. Coding-decoding questions are asked in most of the competitive exams. There are two types of coding decoding questions that are asked in the exams. Letter coding Here the letters in a word are replaced by other letters or numbers according to a specific rule to form its code. One has to detect the rule and solve the given problem.
