(What Banks / Issuers Look For)

1️⃣ Income

• Regular and sufficient income is required
• Shows ability to repay credit card bills
• Higher income → higher chance of approval & higher credit limit

Example:
Salaried / Self-employed income proof

2️⃣ Credit History

• Record of past loans and credit card usage
• Shows whether the person pays bills on time
• Late payments reduce approval chances

3️⃣ Credit Score

• A 3-digit number showing creditworthiness
• Range: 300 – 900
• Score above 700 is considered good
• Low score may lead to rejection or lower limit

4️⃣ Employment Stability

• Stable job or business preferred
• Longer work experience increases trust

5️⃣ Existing Loans & Cards

• Banks check total debt and EMIs
• Too many loans → higher risk

6️⃣ Age & KYC Documents

• Minimum age usually 18–21 years
• PAN, Aadhaar, address proof required
